Poland take-home pay calculator 2026
Enter your monthly gross salary on an employment contract (umowa o pracę) and see an estimate of your net pay in 2026.
In short: on an employment contract in 2026 you pay 13.71% of gross in social insurance, 9% health insurance on the rest, and 12% income tax (32% above 120,000 zł a year) minus a 300 zł monthly tax reduction.
How the estimate works
- Social insurance paid by you: pension 9.76%, disability (rentowa) 1.5%, sickness 2.45%, on gross pay, until the annual limit of 282,600 zł for pension and disability is reached.
- Health insurance: 9% of gross minus your social insurance contributions. It is not deductible from tax.
- Tax-deductible costs: 250 zł a month (3,000 zł a year) for one employer, or 300 zł a month (3,600 zł a year) if you live in a different town than your workplace.
- Income tax: 12% up to 120,000 zł of annual taxable income minus 3,600 zł, which is 300 zł per month; 10,800 zł plus 32% of the amount above 120,000 zł. The 30,000 zł tax-free amount is built into this reduction.
The calculator runs month by month through the year, so people earning above the threshold see tax rise later in the year. It does not include employee capital plans (PPK), tax reliefs such as the under-26 relief, family relief, the reduced rate for some contracts, or employer costs. Your payslip can differ by a few zloty because of rounding and your own situation.
